When starting off a career in acting or modeling, most assume that you have to be a size 0, 5 foot 8 model that will be a perfect prospect for film, runway, and commercial work. That may lead true for high fashion work in the industry, but for the most part clients are looking for all types of talent to fill roles and character breakdowns for their projects.

American Heart Association is currently casting for everyday people for their next Commercial. This industrial commercial is specifically looking for talent ages 30-50 years old that have real EMT, Fire Fighter, and Paramedic experience. Talents of all ethnicities are encouraged to come out to the casting call. Looking for real current or former people who have worked in that line of industry and who can obviously handle being in front of a camera.

People with very neutral voices that do not sound like they are from a different country yet look universal are encouraged to apply for the casting. Also looking to book current or former medical professionals with ACLS certification. Quick thinking and camera ready ER Nurses, Doctors, and anyone who has been or is in the medical professional. Just regular people who would be interested in doing some acting Commercial work!

For those of you that are not familiar with the group, the American Heart Associated has a mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Their mission has been to not only prevent heart disease and stroke, but most importantly educate the public on signs of those health issues, and encourage them to seek a doctor for help. This casting is open to talent ages 30-50 years old that are open to working on a commercial of this kind and are comfortable working in front of the camera.   4. Hello my name is Michael Weaver, heart disease is a subject, I am all too familiar with unfortunately. My mother her mother and her father all died of heart attacks, my mother and my grandfather at a fairly young age their early fifties. I am a firm believer, that you can significantly reduce the chances of dying of a heart attack with lifestyle changes. Such as regular exercise, cardio and resistance training, a clean diet, fresh fruits and vegetables and less processed foods! These are what I believe people need to do, to decrease the chances of heart disease in America. I believe this message cannot be told enough, especially here in the Washington Metropolitan Area, where heart disease is very high. Thank you.

  13. I should be considered for the American Heart Association commerical because I actually did have a heart attack on Mother’s Day 2012 at 2am in the morning. It changed my entire life (for the better). Glad to still be able to do cartwheels!! Though I might be too old to do a commercial, I’m 55.

  14. I would love to do a commercial for the American Heart Association. I have had 3 heart attacks. Two by pass surgeries (5 the 1st time 3 the 2nd time) In Sept 2010 I was implanted with a L-LAD ( left ventricular assist device ) On 11/12/13 I received the gift of life. A heart transplant

  37. When I tell people how old I am, they look at me in awe. I’ll be 21 in April, but I usually look like I’m 16. Being tiny tends to do that to people. However, I have a sharp hourglass figure, and I’m corset trained.
    Sometimes my friends call me Mary, which also seemed appropriate for my Korean teacher and classmates to call me. “Maryann” is a bit awkward in the Korean language. I know bits a pieces of a few languages and I want to someday be fluent in at least three.
    I go to Montgomery College and am transferring to the University of Maryland for a degree in Criminal Justice. My focus will be Forensic Science. If you’ve seen NCIS, you know Pauley Perrette’s character of Abby. I want to be Abby incarnate.
    Judging from the sheer diversity in the friends that I have (9+ groups), I’d say I’m a very accepting, friendly person. I can also be very abstract, and people sometimes describe me as eccentric, humble, and sometimes paradoxical. You could also ask me anything and I’ll respond truthfully. Why would I have anything to hide?
    I’m also a giant nerd. I love video games, video game music, conventions, science fiction, anime, Dungeons and Dragons (I’m not even kidding), and tabletop and strategy board games.
