Coat of Many Colors Casting Call for Caucasian Extras

The NBC Network has teamed up with Dolly Parton to bring to life her truly inspiring story that gave her the strength to become the woman she is today. The Coat of Many Colors is currently filming in the Atlanta area and is seeking extras.

Coat of Many Colors is a TV movie based on the inspiring true story of living legend Dolly Parton’s remarkable upbringing. The film will take a very special look inside the tight-knit Parton family as they struggle to overcome devastating tragedy and discover the healing power of love, faith and a raggedy patchwork coat that helped make Dolly who she is today. This heartwarming tale of a courageous nine-year-old girl from Tennessee and the loving family that taught her the power of inner strength is scheduled to be released December 2015.

Casting Details

Alyvia Alyn Lind will portray 9-year-old Dolly Parton. The movie was written by Pamela K. Long, she will also executive produce along with Sam Haskell and dolly Parton. Ricky Schroder will portray Robert Lee Parton, Dolly’s hardworking father. Jennifer Nettles will portray Avie Lee Parton, Dolly’s very loving and supportive mother.

The casting team with CL Casting has released a casting call for extras to portray Towns people to work a 1950’s scene. The team is seeking extras between the ages of 18-40 who are Caucasian. The talent must be able to portray towns people from the 1950’s and must be local to the Atlanta area.

It doesn’t get anymore AUTHENTIC than never having your hair dyed, never had a piercing, and zero tattoos. If you fit this description, we would like for you to submit as a towns person to work with us in a 1950’s film. Seeking ages 18 to 40’s at this time. Caucasian Only

WOMEN: We’re looking for thin women with short and all natural hair. NOT hair that is dyed to look natural.

MEN: Comb it over, slick it back. Men with fantastic hair who are clean shaven, or with a thin mustache. Must be thin/athletic.
