FOX series Empire Casting Call Male Rappers in Chicago

Music. Family. Power. The Battle Begins. The dramatic Hip Hop series stars Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard and Jussie Smollet. It is also the acting debut of Bryshere Gray. Empire airs every Wednesday night on the FOX network at 9/8c.  It premiered to Fox’s highest ratings in 3 years with 9.8 million viewers tuning in. That number has risen steadily with each episode.

The extras casting team for Empire released a casting call for male extras between the age of 18 to 30s to portray rappers for the final episode of Empire, this scene will film on Tuesday Jan. 27th. Talent who would like to be considered for a role must not have previously worked on the show.  Empire is filmed in the Chicago area and the extras casting team is seeking local talent only.

  2. I am a mother/wife career women. I am 58 years of age and I always dream of getting an opportuniry to be on a TV show. My son said Mom you’re a natural you dont even know it. So he encourage me to sign up to see what happen. I never had any type of acting classes. When Empire first start airing I said I would love to be on that show. It’s very real. What an excellent crew.
