My name is Hilario Gonzalez, I am 21 years old and I also go by Eli. I recently began watching Grey’s Anatomy and I am currently on season 5 and I have to say that this is a truly special show that is unlike anything I have ever watched. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) and I feel like this is the reason why I am so interested and intrigued by the show. I have always had my mind set on surgery but got discouraged in the amount of time (years) it took to achieve such a goal so I wanted to pursue the next best thing which was to be a scrub nurse so that I can still be present during surgical procedures.
It took me a while to decide that I wanted to be a nursing major because I couldn’t fathom having to choose one single thing that I will be doing for the rest of my life and this is how I ultimately stumbled upon the idea of wanting to act. The main reason is because I could be anything I wanted to be. One day I could be a doctor, the next day I could be a lawyer or even a crime scene investigator. So, this notion really hit home to me because I finally found something that I can do that won’t leave me feeling like I am giving up something that I love for something that I love.
Now, I have to admit I have no professional experience but I am confident that my drive and high degree of self motivation will help me to excel in anything that I encounter. My employers always say that I am a great person to work with because I do well with constructive criticism an always build on any short comings that I may have. I am a great listener and always work hard even if it is for something that often times goes unnoticed. I am also always incredibly eager to continue to improve and grow in order to become a more well rounded individual.
Again, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be an actor for one of the greatest primetime television shows ever. I know I will work hard every day in order to make my dreams as well as your dreams a reality. Grey’s Anatomy is a cool show. I really enjoy watching it. It’s written in a certain way that makes the characters likable and you feel the emotional impacts of their lives alongside them. The reason for that is largely the actors that portray them. Whether it’s the main characters or the episode story-arc characters, the network always does a good job at picking someone who can elicit the response they look for. I do think I would be a good choice. I’m great at becoming the person I’m trying to portray, I can display a range of emotions, I have no issues with line memorization, and I can leave you remembering that I was there. My name is Jessica Armstrong and I am an ecstatic 18-year-old girl. My mom is a nurse and has been watching Grey’s from the beginning and I remember watching it with her as a little girl. Of course, then I had absolutely no idea really what was going on. However, I began to rewatch all of the episodes on Netflix and I finished the seasons available in the time span of 5 months. If that doesn’t say anything about how big of a fan I am, this should. When the first half of season 11 was not available on Netflix, I signed up for a free week of Hulu just to watch them and be caught up when it began airing again January 29th. I finished all of them in one day and I am currently suffering from TGIT. For years now I have decided on going into the medical field and watching Grey’s makes me that much more excited! So not only would I absolutely love and enjoy being on the actual set, I would learn about medical situations on a whole other level and further my acting skills.
