The comedy drama is back for another season and a another round of casting for talent. Auditions are constantly under way for NBC’s “Parenthood”. Developed by Jason Katims and produced by Imagine and Universal Television this new season of Parenthood will have the audiences in for a treat. This modern day adaptation to the 1989 film has been picked up and loved by audiences nationwide. NBC definitely has another hit. The show centers around a family by the last name of Braceman. They have now expanded into three generations and they all somehow try to live together. They are located in Berkeley, California and the San Fran area.
Cureently the cast includes the well known television actors such as Craig Nelson, and Bonnie Bedelia. Sarah Ramos and Lauren Graham are also part of the list. It is rumored that Ray Romano will also joiin the cast in this upcoming season of “Parenthood”. He is known for his hilariously witty comedy which was on for a decade. The show remains on it’s same timeslot of 10/9c on Tuesdays and will remain there. The new 15 episode season is set to start filming already.
Casting directors are looking for fill 4 particular roles in the television series along with featured and regular extras. Casting is set to start at the end of this month therefore talent who are interested should apply within and as quickly as possible. Casting department is accepting applications and photos of each talent for auditions. Auditions will be set up by phone by the casting directors. Once all of the applications are filtered through the experienced talent will be called first. You do not have to be a SAG professional actor in order to be considered for this project. NBC is responsible for it’s final decisions on who and when talent are needed. You must have a resume and a head shot prepared before coming out to the open casting call. All talent who are applying and are under the age of 18 should have parent or guardian permission. Best of luck to all of the talent involved.
