One of Disney’s biggest hits ever, Frozen is an animated movie which tells a story of two sisters, Elsa and Anna and how their sisterly bond helps them to overcome any obstacle that is thrown their way. The magical tale left a lasting impression on both the youngsters and adults so much so that nobody can seem to get enough of it. The soundtrack of the movie titled, “Let it Go” remained at the top of the charts for the longest period of time and made sure that we all knew its lyrics by heart.
“For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” gives all Equity members a chance to indulge a little into their childhood fantasy and step into the characters of magical Princesses and Prince and become part of an exciting musical.
Audition Guidelines:
- Both males and females Equity members can apply for the auditions.
- All candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old.
- No restrictions on ethnic or racial backgrounds
- Call Type: Non-Required Principal
- No monitors will be provided; the producer will be overseeing the auditions.
- Contract: Walt Disney World, $16.53(minimum) per hour
- Interested candidates must bring their Equity Membership Card to the auditions.
- Interested candidates do not have to be good at singing, since all the three roles are non singing ones.
Role Requirements:
Role Requirements for Princess Anna:
- Interested candidates auditioning for the role of Princess Anna must be at least 5’3” to 5’7” in height.
- Princess Anna is quirky, fun and a little clumsy at times. She has an outgoing personality and is very friendly.
- No singing is required for this role.
- Non required Principal
Role Requirements for Queen Elsa:
- Interested candidates auditioning for the role of Queen Elsa must be at least 5’3” to 5’7” in height.
- She is the beautiful and elegant Queen of Arendelle. She is friendly too, but a little on the reserved side. Family means everything to her.
- This is a non singing role.
- Non required Principal
Role Requirements for Kristoff:
- Interested candidates auditioning for the role of Kristoff must be 5’10” to 6’2” in height.
- Kristoff is a tough yet charming ice harvester of Arendelle. He is witty and is in love with Anna; also shows a lot of love and regard for Queen Elsa’s snowy powers.
- This is a non singing role.
- Non required Principal
All interested candidates showing up for the auditions must come along with their resumes with their headshots attached to it. These are open auditions to both, male and female Equity actors. Punctuality is highly stressed; late comers will not be accepted or entertained. The last date for these auditions is 7th August 2016.
