Liam Neeson is back for another thrilling action packed dramatic stance in the feature film “Taken 2”. The retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage after years and years of trying to forget what happened to their daughter during her kidnapping, only to end up being captured by the father of a kidnapper that Mills killed when he was trying to save his daughter. Director Olivier Megaton didn’t believe the film should of ended with the last “Taken” film and was looking for an even more action packed drama. Olivier directed the 2008 hit Transporter 3 and the 2011 straight to DVD film “Colombiana”.
“Taken 2” stars actor Liam Neeson, again, Famke Janssen, who plays his ex-wife , and Maggie Grace who plays their daughter Kim. Rade Serbedzija plays Murad, the father of the first kidnapper from the original film “Taken”. First they took his daughter and now they are looking for him! Their family vacation to Istanbul turns into a mess as Mills daughter Kim, played by Maggie Grace, tries to save their lives. This action, crime, drama, thriller is rated PG-13 and definitely advises it’s viewers to be prepared for an action packed film. Europa Corp. and Grive Productions in responsible for headlining the production of the film. Most of the film is shot in Turkey with parts of it re-shot in the US.
In need of extras and actors to fill some scenes that are being re-shot here. Casting departments are on an overload looking for talented individuals who have the availability to be part of such a large production. Every talent interested in finding a role in the project should submit an application and a recent photo immediately. Some talent may be asked to bring in an acting resume and portfolio for auditions. Not all talent have to be professional SAG actors to book this project.
