American sitcom The Big Bang Theory produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady is back on CBS for another season. This sitcom is about a pretty and sophisticated L.A. woman who lives in an apartment next door to two brilliant but geeky physicists.It has gotten some of the best ratings amongst all CBS shows and is now the number one show on Thursday night primetime, beating out FOXs American Idol. The sitcoms stars Johnny Galecki,Jim Parsons,Kaley Cuoco,Simon Helberg and its filmed in front of a live studio audience.The casting directors are now searching for several extras and stand ins for The Big Bang Theory, this is a great opportunity for anyone looking to break into the acting industry.

The Big Bang Theory centers aroundLeonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper who are both brilliant physicists working at Cal Tech in Pasadena, California. They are colleagues, best friends, and roommates, they are also friends with their Cal Tech colleagues mechanical engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The foursome spend their time working on their individual work projects, playing video games, watching science-fiction movies, or reading comic books. As they are self-professed nerds, all have little or no luck with girls. When Penny, a pretty woman and an aspiring actress originally from Omaha, moves into the apartment next to Leonard and Sheldon’s, Leonard has another aspiration in life, namely to get Penny to be his girlfriend.

The casting directors are now looking to Males and Females 18 and over for several roles in the sitcom.     I am a very Big fan of Big Bang Theory. I never missed watching any show since the day I came to know about the Big Bang Theory (Watched all the shows).

    I am sure the next new move in the Big Bang Theory will be to introduce someone as Raj Koothrapali’s GIRLFRIEND (as he has been lonely for a long time ;) ). I BELIEVE I will be a perfect fit for that role as I am a perfect BLEND of both the cultures and can play that role very well.

  5. Acting has always been a hobby of mine, but now I am ready for it to become my life. I have been taking classes and lessons for acting all my life and I really love to challenge myself. I like seeing people get surprised and shocked at what I can do. It’s always been something that made me happy to do. When people tell me that I did great or give me a compliment I am so excited. When they give me negative response, I don’t get down. When I get negative response I just ask them what could I do better and I take that in consideration. The negative responses make me a better actress and I embrace them. Just give me one chance and I promise I will not let you down.

  15. I would love to be on The Big Bang Theory, I’ve done theare in my drama class back when I was in High School, I was the only one that didn’t mess up on my lines out of the whole class. I did a commercial for my church, I played the role of a wife getting abused by her husband, so I’m confortable in front of a camera. I work really hard, I try to be as perfect as I can be when it comes to remembering lines & doing what I’m supposed to do. I also would love it if my 2 yr old could possibly have a role also, I think it would be interesting to see how Sheldon would interact with a 2 yr old little girl, thank you for your time!

  16. I love the dynamic! I caught onto this show about 2 months ago. I’ve already seen up to season 4 and I absolutely love it! Being a college student, with all of the homework and exams, the days can be daunting. Just watching an episode is enough to lighten my day! It is truly inspiring! My father has his masters degree in anthropology and I am working my way through Physical Therapy school. Seeing these characters come together with such chemistry is remarkable! This show is one of a kind!

  17. I find this show fascinating to me every show, play, movie or just plain acting is an experience out of this world. I have great memory when it comes to lines but unfortunately I live in PR were not many auditions happen.
