One of the most popular television shows in making a return and there is a lot to be excited as casting calls for Season 5 of ‘The Walking Dead’ is upon us. This specific casting call however, is for a recurring role which means that you have the chance to be seen in multiple episodes of this new season. From the information we have gathered this AMC casting call will take place in Atlanta, GA but no specific date has been released for the actual casting but we do have some information on the characters.
The casting directors of ‘The Walking Dead’ are also looking for three individuals to take up roles in episode 4 “Slabtown”, which is expected to focus on Beth and these three characters will follow her into episodes 7 and 8 which are all hospital scenes. There is also a featured role open for a part in episode 10 for a character named “Logan” who is described as being “affable, goo-natured, adventurous guy.”. This character in particular is expected to project a certain amount of bravery and compassion as Logan is said to also be willing to place himself in danger for the hope of protecting others.
We’re fairly confident that this won’t being the only casting call for the newest season of ‘The Walking Dead’ to be made available, but this may be one of the best opportunities to capture a big time role. I LOVE The Walking Dead. Since episode 1 season 1, it has been a family night highlight. It definitely brings my family together. :) This show has so much room for creativity and has such clever plot twists and character stories. I have been taking this under consideration for the past few months. Out of all my friends and family I’m the entertainer. In 2010 I took a six month trip from lake Michigan to the golf of Mexico via the river systems on a 22 foot sailboat I bought for 100 dolors. With no finance just determination and Witt. I was six years old. My Mother had recently broke up with her boyfriend. It was her and me again.
We went to a drive-in together. In the cozy front seat of my Mom’s mustang, gulping down saturated greasy popcorn and a foot long hotdog……that warm feeling was about to end. As I watched ‘Last House on the Left’ the fear was pulsating. I did not realise how scared I was until bedtime.
I have been in love with frightening films since. It seems like I cannot breathe without a great fright from film. I’ve carried this fascination a lifetime. Through early education to college.
My fears were exacerbated when I moved in an apartment were I soon discovered EVP’ s. I was recording and picked the first one up by accident. There were two of them. This was not a film. This was real. I lived there for 4 months after the discovery. But I had lived there for 10 years prior. I just thought all this time….they were watching and listening in. . My first EVP said, ” I’m hear.” I played some of them to friend and strangers. They always asked me, “you live there?” When they heard it. I was not to popular in my apartment building. I played it for management. I guess word got out. I was transferred after a played a recording to the apartment manager. He got really nervous and jumped up and started looking through all the buildings blueprints. What was that about?
I felt bad. On the recordings.. It just sounded like someone was trapped. I moved and left a Bible open and said a prayer. I hope whomever it was GOT home….the nice voice anyways. The other voice. The harsh growly one. The one that gave everyone instant goosebumps and a disoriented stare in the eyes. This voice was disturbing.
Now I know the real deal. My viewing of frightening films has a whole new perspective.

I watched the first episode of Walking Dead 6 months ago. It was so riveting, disgusting and scary I didn’t watch another episode until 3 weeks ago. Now I am through season 3. I am definitely hooked. I love the way it’s filmed; all that silence, the use of amazing music to build suspense. The gore makes it scary and gross, but the authenticity of the relationships that are being forged is what has made me a fan. I find afterwards, throughout the day, I am thinking about the characters. Thinking about what they’ve been through, what they did and said, what I might do if something like that really ever happened. It’s brilliant, It would be an honor to be a part of. Oh, and it would really freak my kids out too.

Where can I begin? I’ve been watching The Walking Dead religiously every Sunday since it was first aired. I’ve fallen in love with the series not only because of the amazing story-line which had no problem pulling me in and trapping me, but because of the amazing actors and actresses as well.
